The Summer Misk Festival’s fifth edition, took place from the 22nd of June till the 28th. The opening night hosted the renowned musician, composer and pianist, Guy Manoukian, who performed together with Egyptian superstar, Abu. Known for acquiring his own method of non-traditional piano playing, as well as his charismatic presence on stage, Guy engaged with his fans throughout.
On the closing night, the most in-demand electro-pop band, Clean Bandit hit the stage. Known for their Grammy award winning single “Rather be,” their number one songs on international charts include “Tears,” “Symphony,” “I miss you” and “Rockabye,” featuring rapper Sean Paul and singer Anne-Marie.
With another successful edition, Summer Misk Festival is clearly becoming a force to be reckoned with in Lebanon’s arts and culture scene.
